“A Toast to the New Year”
Back in 1995, my Sister-In-Law came to me after a New Year celebration asking that I think about rewriting the old words to the yearly singing of Auld Lang Syne. No one felt the old English traditional song had the desired newness of welcoming in a new year in America. So, the enclosed updated lyrical and melody versions were created retaining the original Public Domain melody. With the fast approaching 250th Anniversary of the founding of the USA, I think the time is right both intellectually and financially to have a music producer to work with me to finalize such a new polished version for use by the TV networks, government celebrations and universal exposure across the country. A professional version with a well-known vocal ensemble and orchestra would be a powerful opportunity to bring new life to the old, outdated Old English version. It could also be enhanced with a great video.

“A Toast to the New Year” - NSAI evaluations
NSAI - Cool Theme. It’s really cool and melodic in a memorable way. The music is beautiful & very strong with the right structure. Lots of cool hook lines & phrases. It really feels like cool new, New Year’s song lyrics which are straight up, tight and easy to follow. You have cool images of a New Year's celebration. Very cool Irish melodic melodies and feel. One Evaluator after mentioning that the demo is very cool, did commented on the length, but said I should be the judge. I think the ending adds a timeless “class” to the song. You be the judge. They suggested that this could work Pop, Holiday song markets, and for Syncs. Maybe the Christmas song market , as well, because New Years is celebrated pretty much at the same time. This could also work for the Cabaret market and perhaps Syncs. One closed with “ I enjoyed listening.” That says it all for me.“NSAI – “One To Watch”
“When My Amy Smiles”
This touching song captures the opening wedding scene of Father and Bride to capture the moment of love, affection, devotion and admiration he has for his grown daughter. The song reminisces back to important moments in their lives together as she has grown where her simple gift of a smile was all the thanks he needed to sense a job well done. It’s a real feel-good song with either a bouncy Up-tempo Country or sentimental Slow Pop tune with an orchestra (which I really like with clear vocal presentation), at a tempo of your choosing. In all cases it provides meaningful & relatable lyrics of human interactions and strong emotions that everyone can embrace. I feel it is important to have a reflective voice of an older country male to add realism. Placement, size and extent of musical bridges will be up to you based on time constraints. It also lends itself to a powerful visual video to convey the importance of parental bonding, love and support through the years, and how a simple gesture can mean so much. It speaks to every father and daughter out there ( and every grandfather and granddaughter as well). It lends itself to a great video as well. When my daughter heard it for the first time... "my Amy cried"… so I think I have something here. I hope you enjoy this special song of ours as much as I did in creating it. I hope it becomes special for you as well.

· NSAI - Cool theme and hook, as well as Country melodies, vocals and feel. Chorus melody is definitely beautiful. Nice job there! It’s a very cool hook. You definitely did a good job in cutting down on the length of the song. “You do some cool stuff vocally towards the end and that works. The lyrics are really cool.” “It has a great sentiment and the love between a father and daughter really comes across. You have a lot of great lines here. It’s visual and conversational at the same time and that works well.” You start off when a wedding day. Then you talk about how she’s grown. “That 1st verse is very cool. The detail about the tie is great writing. You have a lot of great stuff”. “This feels very authentic. The music is beautiful, and the lyrics really show the love between a father and daughter. This is really cool.” This could work for the Contemporary Country market. ACCOLADES: “ONE TO WATCH” - NSAI Evaluation
American Songwriter, Phil – “Great dynamics on this song, William. Certainly focuses on that smile. I can see you performing this with a backdrop of a video with Amy smiling happily. Bet it gets an audience singing along.” Charlotte – “I like the depth. It gets the audience to sit up and take notice. Lovely song.
“Three Roses All Red, White and Gold”
A visual & emotional future classic which utilizes the ordinary combination of three different colored roses to project a male artist’s love and devotion to his wife. The song carries you through the periods of life from courtship to wedding bliss to final parting sorry from the woman’s perspective, so a Female Vocal is called for. The song carries several interwoven lyrical and melodic scenes to convey the periods of their lives together. An earlier rendition of the song had great audience reaction in the ‘90s. It’s a very emotional and sweet ballad which would also lend itself to a wonderful video.

· NSAI - “Everything is good.” You have the basic right structure, and a cool theme. It feels like the whole chorus is a hook as opposed to a phrase or a line. It feels pretty good. You have a lot of great, cool images here and it’s a clear cool story. “I love the idea of the roses, the fact they have a meaning, and that he tries to live them each day. “ “There's definitely a vibe within this that works. Cool melodic traditional minor key haunting contemporary country melodies and feel. I hear the George Strait-type of a melody in here. I think an artist could hear it and get the point It's a workable melody. This could work for the traditional country market. “You have a cool story and if feels really good.” NSAI ACCOLADES: “ONE TO WATCH”
In Person Demo Pitch – Concord Music (Matt Turner) - “Bill, I think you did a great job here. And I don’t have a whole lot of negative feedback. This feels like a great classic Country song like Alan Jackson, or someone like that. It moves along nicely. It has a great tempo to it. A great love song! I love how you tied everything from beginning to the end. I love the song! I think you did a great job! They know I give honest feedback on here (at the Evening With a Publisher events), so I really think you did a great job!” (The final Demo version attached was revised slightly after this Pitch Session to make it even better).
“Broadway and Fourth Avenue”
This is a deep expose’ of a fictitious old one-time famous Country Music Star who has, over the years, gotten lost in the public’s rush for the next new sound. He now finds himself having to walk nightly with his dog, Merle, down to a popular section of Nashville’s nightlife to a familiar concrete corner to play his old songs for tips to get by. The NSAI Evaluator commented on the cool story which even he could relate to with great imagery. If could present a great opportunity for a moving video as well.
NSAI Expert Songwriter Evaluation Comments: NSAI
NSAI – You have the basic right structure. It’s a cool hook and you use it in a memorable way. This is a cool story and one I could relate to. You have great images here and I think this is a guy who comes back to busking on Broadway or just reflecting on it. Cool theme. This could work for the traditional country market. Cool traditional country melodies and feel. I enjoyed listening. Keep up the good work. Accolades: One to Watch!
“Hills Like Tennessee”
This is a moving song about a seriously wounded soldier in a field hospital tent who relays his thoughts and emotions as he is laying dying. As he sees his past quickly recalling his time on Earth, he has a deep love and earnest yearning and prayer to be able to go where he came from in the beautiful hills and mountains of Tennessee when he dies. The song has great imagery, religious messages, and faith and hope for every Believer. It is also a tribute to the beauty and the simple life of those able to enjoy the countryside of Eastern Tennessee & Western Virginia.

NSAI - You have the basic right structure. It’s a cool hook and you use it in a memorable way. You have a lot of cool visual images here. It seems you are speaking about someone who on his way to heaven reflecting on his life etc. You have really tight rhyme schemes. All the visual stuff is great. Cool theme. This could work for the country market. Cool melodic country melodies and feel. This has a great sentiment and again, the images are strong. I enjoyed listening. Keep up the good work .
“Walk the Walk”
This song is another great visual country dance floor scene where a female artist eyes a handsome young man across the room, and mentally and verbally tries to coax him to come over and share in her interest by “walking the walk” and “talking the talk” she loves to hear. This material and common interaction greatly supports audience participation as they sing along and clap to the cues to “Walk the Walk!. A video of the interactions would be easily produced to support the material.
I am also offering several variants of the same lyrics with additions and subtractions to fit various genres such as a modern Beyonce-sounding version with girl backup singers, a rocking electro dance sound with a driving deep beat that hits you, a milder Teen sounding version for TV or movies as well, and a similar milder Pop version with less electronic sounds in between. Something for whatever Artists or Sync Supervisors might be searching for. Listen to them all and see if your aren’t immediately tapping your feet, and moving with the grooving
NSAI Expert Songwriter Evaluation Comments: NSAI
You have the right structure. It’s a cool hook and you use it in a memorable way. This has all the cool lines a dance song should have. Cool theme. This could work for the contemporary country market. Cool contemporary country melodies and feel. The track and vocal has a nice mix of country and dance. I enjoyed listening. Keep up the good work. Accolades: One to Watch!
“Stand Up For Your Country”
This is a rip-rousing audience participation song which could be further enhanced by a matching video with a real Country Fest-type concert crowd. It lends itself to either Male or Female or Duet presentation. It intends to create metaphors for both the love of Country Music with love for living in America and its principles of Faith, Family and Freedom. In times like these when there are those loud influences which would try to tear down this country and down-home country/bluegrass music, this song allows people to loudly and proudly support our patriotic love for Country Music as well as our country’s principles and ideals. It could be enhanced by a dramatic driving Bass Line beat, and a patriot video. A great audience participation number to get them on their feet and clapping. I hope you feel the strong vibe, catchy lyrics, audience participation and message as well.
NSAI Expert Songwriter Evaluator Comments: NSAI Evaluations
NSAI - It’s a clever theme and there are only 4 such titles registered in the BMI/ASCAP title database, so it’s relatively fresh.” “It’s a Cool hook and you use it in a memorable way.” “You have the right structure. Lyrically, “you have a lot of cool lines here. It’s pretty simple, but in a good way.” “Your rhyme schemes were consistent.” “Cool traditional melodies and feel.” “This is cool. I think it’s pretty pitch ready”. “This could work for the Traditional Country market.
“It’s All Just in Her Jeans”
This is just a fun piece with a different tone and style song with a more contemporary, hard rock beat which mixes the meaning of a beautiful woman’s genetic influenced looks with how she comes strutting in tight fitting jeans into a bar, or a dance floor, restaurant, party, etc. It just screams out for a video with a beautiful model in a sexy outfit entering a bar, dance hall or a pool hall. There’s no message, just a jazzy rocking musical score to get you laughing and up dancing. I have three different vibes to chose from, a) Contemporary Country with a Jason Alden-like beat, b) a lively modern, international Female Electro Rock pounder, and c) a change of pace R&B /sophisti-Pop sound like a Sade.
I hope you enjoy each one and hopefully one will fit your needs.
NSAI (Sophisti-Pop Version Only) - It’s a very cool hook. LYRIC: This is cool. It is a description of a woman, and you have a lot say about her here. The images work real well. Cool theme. This could work for the smooth Jazz and dance market. You have a cool pop/jazz melody here. It sounds like a cross between a pop/ jazz song and a disco dance song. I suggest you pick one or the other and either way work on an appropriate drum part. The melody and changes feel more jazz /pop so try to figure out a cool drum part for that kind of vibe. Keep up the good work.
“Bless Your Heart”
This upbeat, razzy, toe-tapping fiddle song utilizes a phrase perhaps more common in the south to mold it into a more universal glorification of female friendship where the singer is thanking her friend for various ways and means she provides support and comfort, which is “more precious than her money when you give me of your time.” Therefore, Female Vocal(s) are particularly called for to carry the backdrop. It’s a real feel-good, touching song with a bouncy tune and meaningful lyrics of human interactions and emotions. It also lends itself to a powerful visual video to convey the importance of human interaction, understanding and support. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did in its creation.

· NSAI - Cool country theme, hook, melodies and feel with the right structure. Straight forward country song lyric that all comes across with tight rhyme schemes that all comes across. Takes common phrases and delivers them in an unexpected way. This could work for the Country market, especially Bluegrass.
· Amer. Songwriter, John - Yee-ha, good enough to be played at the Grand Ole Opry! Stacey - This is awesome!!! A winner!!!
In Person Demo Pitch – Concord Music (Matt Turner) - “Great job, Bill! Once again! It’s so funny because it seems you could come to Nashville and give a little tutorial to the writers on how to write up-tempo songs. One of the common themes we get asked for are up-tempo songs. We get up-tempo with throw away lyrics, you know. There used to be a craft in Nashville where writing up-tempo, feel-good songs that actually said something. And you just delivered that! I think you did a great job. You’ve just delivered that! Kind of a Trisha Yearwood song that makes you want to feel good and tap your toes... but also says something. So, Great Job!” (The final Demo version attached was revised slightly after this Pitch Session to make it even better).
“Thru the Eyes of a Child”
This song in its final form would be enhanced with an initial sound clip of children on a playground together to set the scene. While watching children playing in a playground together, the singer(s) is struck by the fact that although they are all different by gender, race or creed, they all seem to get along fine while enjoying each other’s company. It brings to home that we would all be better if we all could similarly look from our neighbor to our world through the same innocent nature we started with as children. It lends itself to a moving video to convey the message of universal love and respect. Your evaluation of the value of the song’s in its simple, less preachy manner is encouraged. I’m please with this specialty DEMO outcome, and I think the other Songwriters got it.

· NSAI - Great demo and great singing!! You have the right structure. It’s a cool memorable hook. You have a lot of cool images here. Cool melodic Pop melodies and feel. This is cool and it has a great sentiment. You get across the innocence of how children see the world. “I love the message of this for sure!” “You have some great lines here. The opening lines are great!! “I like how you've got it laid out and there is not much here that needs tweaking.” “I really think it is a cool message and song! Cool melodic Pop melodies and feel, not particularly Country Radio. All you need is an artist who wants to say this to an arena full of people!. It sort of feels more fitting for a Broadway musical?? “You obviously have a great talent of production, singing, and writing, so you have all the tools. it is well written and produced. All you can do is pitch it around and see the reaction you get. it is great.”
· In Person Demo Pitch – LEO33 Music (Daniel Lee) -“It’s a beautiful song! I don’t have a specific need within the things I currently am looking at. I feel it would, I don’t know, maybe be tied in some sort of a PSA, or a non-profit or something along those lines that could capture that video component. So, this will be a PASS for me, not because of the song, but because it doesn’t fit within what we have right now. Does that make sense? … Good job in developing the focal point of the song, so it doesn’t become stale. Good job in approaching it from a different angle.” (The final Demo version attached was revised slightly after this Pitch Session to make it even better).
“Ride the Wind”
This is a rugged deep-voices man’s song, laser-focused towards those who enjoy the spectacle, drama and excitement of Champion Rodeo Bull Riding, and the men who risk their lives in a dangerous quest to be called the “Champion” and wear the coveted “Buckle.” It is set up to begin with an initial rodeo crowd noise/announcer clip to set up the scene, and then in the middle in the Chorus, audience participation is encouraged during live performances with “Pull!”, “Bull!”, “Powerful!”. And then “Fight!”, Might!”, “Hold On Tight!” This song has obvious video and Professional Rodeo Rider and Event Management endorsement and marketing potential. Great potential!

· NSAI - “Very commercially radio friendly length of song, with a fairly common theme.” Cool theme. Hook is memorable and works in context. You have a lot of cool images here. Lyrics have a nice, very creative imagery, rhyme and meter. …Well done… I love the opening line to Verse 3…very creative.” I like the musical energy of the Demo. Cool country melodies and feel. The track is cool. Very strong vocal and instrumental track.” This could work for the country market.
· In Person Demo Pitch – Concord Music (Matt Turner) - “Great Job! There’s always cowboys and Country Music! There are opportunities like this. Obviously, the audience is more limited than Country music love songs, party on Friday night songs. It takes a guy like a Cody Johnson to give it life, or someone along those lines. But, so, the question becomes pitching it with a song like this. As far as the way you wrote the song and the work you put in… I think you did a great job once again. “GREAT JOB! Keep up the good work! ” (The final Demo version attached was revised slightly after this Pitch Session to make it even better).
“Daddy Ran Away From Home Today”
This is a Traditional Country or Bluegrass number which shows the heartbreak a broken home can have on all the family, but especially the children which are less able to fully understand. This lesson is not lost on the singer who tries to support the child’s grief, and in turn goes home to reassure his/her own children that he/she will never leave them. It’s a lesson to be learned to be aware of all the impacts of your decisions in life, especially the most vulnerable. The visual imagery and message lends itself to a powerful video representation. It’s a song where emotion meets imagery and melody. Enjoy.

NSAI - You have the right structure. It's a great hook and you use it in a memorable way. Lyrics, I think you nailed this one. Cool theme. This could work for the Country market. Cool Country melodies and feel. “This is pretty pitch ready. I have been evaluating your songs for quite a while. This shows you are really growing. Keep up the good work.” NSAI ACCOLADE: “ONE TO WATCH”
“Wild Rivers”
This is another visually enhanced song driven by an unusual twist in a woman’s name, and descriptive lyrics with interesting analogies and a catchy hook, “You could sooner hold water in the palm of your hand, than to tie down sweet Rivers to the love of one man.” Due to the viewpoint of the lyrics, it needs to be sung by a male artist. A great video along with the audio lyrical descriptions and visuals would greatly enhance the marketing and placement of this song. The Evaluators particularly liked this one. I hope you do too.

NSAI - ”You have the right structure. It’s a cool hook and you use it in a memorable way. Cool theme. This could work for the bluegrass market. The lyrics feel really good. You have great images and tight rhyme schemes; and the rivers are a great image that represent a woman that’s wild. It’s a cool metaphor. Melody is cool. The melodies and feel are right on. The track and vocal work well. This is pretty pitch ready. This could work for the bluegrass market. I enjoyed listening.” ACCOLADES: “ONE TO WATCH” - NSAI Evaluation
In Person Demo Pitch – LEO33 Music (Daniel Lee) - “That’s a really cool ‘story’ song! I think you could take it in several directions, more like a Bluegrass flavor to it. YES, send me a copy of that. I’ll make a list of those I’ve mentioned, and I’ll take them back to have fresh ears to listen and see if we have a place for it.” (The final Demo version attached was revised slightly after this Pitch Session to make it even better).
“West Texas Waltz”
This is a sweet, “end of the dance/show”-type of song which encourages couples to get out on the floor, hold each other tight, and sway to a nice country waltz. It unpretentious with its 1-2-3 step with a mesmerizing, sweet fiddle and/or other instrumental background. I think it could be a real crowd requested favorite. A video of a simple western bar, all the way up to a large Gilley’s with an Urban Cowboy look, would be a nice backdrop, and simple to make. I’m particularly please with the simplicity and great visuals this song provides. I hope you enjoy a 1-2-3 along with me…

Cool traditional country melodies and feel. The George Jones vocal really works well. You have a lot of cool lines here. I really like how you describe the feeling of slow dancing. It’s very intimate. The man’s role in leading a woman dancing around the floor really comes across. I can’t think of anything to suggest here. It feels good. This is cool. I suggest you pitch this to specific artists who are still making traditional country records. ACCOLADES: “ONE TO WATCH” - NSAI Evaluation
“In Daddy’s Arms”
A touching real life story how a young married man and father contracted cancer and died in the hospital. During those days, his little son would crawl up on the bed and up into his arms to hold each other in the way only an innocent little boy can. The lyrical descriptions provide a touching reminder of God’s similar love for us who love Him and His Son. A touching video would enhance the situation and the theme. This is one of those songs that just flowed with unseen inspiration in its creation. I hope you enjoy it as well.

NSAI - You have a beautiful song here. It comes across almost as a lull-a-bye and the context is very touching. Congratulations on dusting off an old song and bringing it back to life with a fresh demo. Overall you've done a lovely job paying tribute to someone who has lost their father. Bravo. Keep writing!!
NSAI - You have the right structure. Hook and Lyrics are very cool. You have a lot of cool images here. It’s very spiritual and it really shows this person's pain of missing his father and how much the father meant to him. It’s shows the loss. That all works. Cool melodic Ballad Pop melodies and feel. Cool theme. This has a great sentiment. This could work for the Pop or Contemporary Christian market. Keep up the good work.
“Trail of Tears”
At the beginning of the 1830s, nearly 125,000 Native Americans lived on millions of acres of land in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina and Florid. Land their ancestors had occupied and cultivated for generations. But by the end of the decade, very few natives remained anywhere in the southeastern US. Working on behalf of white settlers who wanted to grow cotton on the Indians’ land, the federal government forced them to leave their homelands and walk hundreds of miles to a specially designated “Indian Territory” across the Mississippi River. This difficult and oftentimes deadly journey is known as the “Trail of Tears” * This song is a chilling representation of the harrowing consequences of this forced march in our history, and how it resonates in the conscience of the Indigenous People, such as the remaining members of North Carolina Cherokee Nation. An endorsement and support for this completed song by the present Tribal leadership might also be sought to further its notice and appeal. A video recreating the hardships endured would be a powerful support to the moving, sad story. (* A much more extensive historical explanation by the History Channel is attached on the REFERENCE Page)

“No Sense at All”
A daring and thought-provoking song which, I dare say, probably everyone from time to time just feels frustrated and powerless by either personal difficulties, health issues, relational problems, death of a loved one, or national/international problems, like wars, calamities, crime, theft, etc. And the natural reaction is usually to blame God. “How can You allow this to happen to me…or us…or them!” Who’s in control here? Forces I can’t see, or is it just me and fate? The question is answered in a positive way that God is in control. If you embrace your faith, you can still see a sun which remains to shine brightly behind even the darkest passing clouds; and that someday, either here or in the next, you will see your questions answered. We all need to have hope that all we’re going through will eventually make sense. We may not like it, but it will make sense. I hope you enjoy this musical expression and the person message of hope in a troubled world.

The title reflects the hook, well done. “I think this is a classic and commercially friendly approach.” Lyrics give it a good start where the emotion definitely comes through, which is most important. “I love that you have a moment where it’s positive. Once you’ve made the move to a new perspective, I think it makes more sense to stay there and leave the listener on the positive note. “ “I like the range of the melody, and the phrasing seems natural. Overall, the Demo does a nice job of presenting the song.” ” I certainly think people could relate to this idea. I really appreciate that you found a way to make it positive and hopeful towards the end. “I Want to Be Loved”
Utilizing a female artist, this is a sad, by unfortunately real, ballad of the effects of a broken marriage or relationship where the house is now empty, no messages on the phone, no needs or expectation by that someone, etc. It’s a heart-filled plea that through it all, she finds it difficult to start over and longs to live and love again with “arms that will hold, without being told that that’s how it should be.” The addition of a video could demonstrate examples of the torment she’s going through and emotions she’s missing and desires in her new relationships. I hope you haven’t or won’t personally relate to the theme of this song, but I think you will be able to empathize to those who do or will.

The last chorus is cool. I thought it might be a modulation, but you just have her doing some cool stretched out licks that work well. “ It shows the emptiness and her yearning. That works well. You create the scene and tell the story. I think it’s pretty straight ahead. Pretty universal for the people who really want their relationships to last. It’s emotional and you have cool images. “Actions Speak Louder Than Words”
This song is a touching, sensitive song sung by a female artist which delves into the deep emotions of one seeking unfulfilled love in a difficult relationship. She bemoans her partner’s taking her for granted, with little examples of outward affection. She pleas in the chorus that her partner shows the love she needs more outwardly without her having to ask, because “actions speak louder than all the sweet words.” This song is written with simple, heart-felt lyrics for a Female Vocal, and will resonate with women of all ages and provide a good reminder to all men. The addition of a video could show examples of the little things she’s missing in her relationship. I hope this touches you as well.

“Girl of My Dreams”
With all the seriousness of my material above, this is just a fun song with an interesting and entertaining interchange between a male and female artist about each one’s initial fantasy dreams of who they will find to marry. However, as time goes on, their dream standards take a beating, and they come to realize that each must realize that, although he/she isn’t what they had dreamed, they’ll just have to do with what they can get. And surprising to them both is that it makes their lives happier and less stressful in the end. It’s another great visual opportunity to enhance the material with a funny back-and-forth video as each changes their expectations, and each accepts each other for better or worse, and how happy they are with each other.

NSAI - “I think it’s a cute storyline and everything seems to support the hook really well.” Theme is ok, about settling but finding true happiness. Pretty relatable. NEW 2026 Songs
“Make it a Good One Today”
There is so much pressure, turmoil, anger, envy and hate in the world and here at home that we see, hear and feel. This song is a call to encourage each of us to look around at the mess we face and daily try to do our small part to try at least make each of our own days a “Good” Day to make our lives, and those of others, just a little bit better. It reminds us to do good, remain positive and hopeful to make for an even Better Day tomorrow. The Past is unchangeable, and the Future is in God’s hands, so let’s try and collectively make Today the best that we can.
NSAI - Good job in putting your vision together. I thought the song was quite emotional - as was your melody. Your lyrics were honest and relatable. I liked the fact that it was a duet. It seems that a ton of people are voicing their feelings about the state of the world right now - so this is not a fresh concept by any means - but one that certainly does have merit. I don't see any reason that would keep your song from being pitched at this point. It's only a matter of finding the right pitch for the right artists which is, of course, always challenging! I wish you the best of luck with your song. Keep up the good work.
“Head Over High Heels”
This is a sweet, lyrical love song which goes from a husband’s love and admiration for his beautiful wife, to an equally endearing and comical situation of their daughter trying to dress-up like her Mom in her fancy dress and grown-up high heel shoes. In both cases for different reasons, he adores them both for who they are and what they mean to him… falling “head over high heels’ for both of the loves in his life. An ode to fathers with young daughters…
NSAI – “Up-Tempo” - Like the vibe and feel! Even though it's an AI demo, I like how you've got it laid out and there is not much here that needs tweaking. All the rhymes work and the structure is on point. Nothing seems weird or out of place. Nothing is confusing. You have a good handle on the basics and how to craft a song. I must say that one problem using AI is that typing a line for a computer to sing totally ignores how an amazing real singer needs to have room to breathe in order to sing. Some of these lines would be tough to replicate due to breathing and no room to breathe. Just an issue that only real singers can spot.
NSAI – “No Spoken” - Form & structure are good. I like the title. I like the idea of the song which all stems from the title. It's clever but simple. There are nice lines like the strap siding off of her shoulder. The melody is pretty good. Some artists are worn on it,but it's by no means a deal breaker. Good luck!

“In the Wink of an Eye”
This song describes, if we’re lucky, that one special moment when, in just the right place and circumstances, two sets of longings eyes meet across a crowded, noisy room, dance floor, bar, wherever. And in that special moment that one female wink of interest in her eye and the throw of her hair start all the magic of the ages as they start their long journey together. As quick as a wink of an eye, a spark can light an “Explosion of Emotion!”
NSAI - Great feel and AI demo!! I like how you've got it laid out and there is not much here that needs tweaking. All the rhymes work and the structure is on point. Nothing seems weird or out of place. Nothing is confusing. You have a good handle on how to craft a song I think it's a pretty clever idea and twist of a phrase. I wish I had more to say but I think it's pretty much there! Just need a little luck and the right artist to hear it and then that artist wanting to say this idea to all their fans!! Easy!! Really cool tune!!
“City of Lost Angels – Hard Rock & Country”
This is a depiction of the trap that many unfortunate souls fall into looking to escape difficulties or idealistically thinking of reaching for fame and fortune in the big city lights and Hollywood. I have a version which is a faster, more edgy, Hard Rock sound with screaming guitars and jagged, professional Frontman vocals; as well as a milder, touching theatrical musical sound with a beautiful orchestrated musical score and artistic professional Lead performer sound and chorus like ‘“Pretty Woman” meets Broadway’. Finally, I also have a middle-of-the-road straight Contemporary Country presentation with a Country up-tempo, vocals and musical accompaniment. “Different Notes for Different Folks!
NSAI – “Hard Rock” - No comments on form or structure. Overall I would try to do some trimming and get it closer to 3:30 if possible. I like the hook and pay off at the end of the chorus. Great job with that! Lyrically, you have some good stuff in here. Overall/Theme, you have a lot of good stuff in here. Good work on this so far!

“STYLE – Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, Sassy, NYC Street Corner”
This is a song about creating a confident, rhythmic anthem that equates clothing with self-respect, power and social perception. It not so subtly bridges the gap between inner character and outer fashion as a form of non-verbal communication. As a tool for success, style becomes a form of cultural “Armor” that helps a man as he navigates life, business and romance. We’re all familiar with the terms like “Dressed to the Nines” and maybe Bowie’s “Fashion” and maybe Madonna’s “Vogue”. Well… above all this sociological mumbo-jumbo, it’s also just plain-shuffle-your-tapping feet fun!! So, this is Bill’s NYC Street Corner anthem that “You’ve Gotta’ Have STYLE” to give you a SMILE ! I hope you rock to it in whatever is your favorite mode! I particularly like the Modern Pop sound. I’ll bet you can’t stop smiling, movin’-to-the-groovin’, and tapping your feet…

Jesus Team
There seems to be a resurgence of Christian awareness and dedication since the Charlie Kirk assassination, especially through the younger high school and college youth. Christian music with youthful Christian artist, Groups and choirs are receiving more and more attention to support this outpouring on interest and desired expression. This song imagines being embraced by groups and artists like Hillsong United, Stephen Curtis Chapman, Chris Tomlin and the like. Its youthful, bouncy, and catchy like a football rally, but with a strong, serious message. I hope you like it.

Hub Cap Annie
This is both a sad but also uplifting song about the lament the singer gives to the difficult situation of an alone young woman living in a shanty condition selling old hub caps and other things along the roadside to survive. The singer resolves to take her for his own to better both their lives. The melody and vocal presentation are either beautifully and sentimental as presented, which a bit long by some standards, but I think worth it... or with a lively, funkier musical and vocal presentation to keep their feet tapping! See if you and your artist(s) agree…

“One Day at a Time"
The difficulties and repercussions of divorce are a challenge to each side in parting while separating emotional, parental, social and financial responsibilities. The song reflects those challenges with a hope that each will gradually assume the new roles and responsibilities by taking a deep breath and taking one step each day to build a different life with a reassuring “You’ll be Ok.’ It’s a sad, but all too common occurrence in today’s society.
NSAI - No comments on structure. The title and hook are solid and really working. I like the simplicity of the title, but the payoff is strong - good work. My main suggestion is to try to write as conversationally as possible - write the lyrics exactly as you'd say them in a conversation in a coffee shop. Melody/Meter is all working - great job! Overall, you have a really strong hook and idea here! “Awesome job to keep going at 78 - you're never too old or young to chase your dreams! :)”
“When All’s Sad and Done”
Marital issues and, too often Divorce, are unfortunate issues which our society has always had to grapple with. I think almost everyone has been touched by it in their families, friends and acquaintances. While this song provides no solutions, it does help to realize that all the pain and hurt are not yours alone. So take heart. Don’t give up on life and love. There’s another chapter awaiting discovery. I hope you like it.

“Alateen”
“Alateen is a free, worldwide peer support program for teens (typically aged 11–19) affected by someone else’s alcoholism. Part of the Al-Anon Family Groups, it provides a safe, anonymous space to share experiences, learn coping skills, and understand that they are not the cause of—nor can they control—another person's drinking.” This song is dedicated to all who direct, support, or unfortunately utilize these services.

“Children With Children”
This is what I call one of my “Psalms of Life” songs. There’s no such thing as a perfect family structure for children to live and grow into adulthood. However, there is the unfortunate situation of teenage parenthood where parents watch the new parents growing up alongside their grandkids. This unfortunately involves social interactions, friendship development, and legal, support and health services. These interactions shape both child’s social skills, reliance and overall well-being. This song reflects the parents perspective wondering how and when did all this happen to them. One day … next teaching how to change them with your daughter. It’s a touching reality check of what can and often happens; and ends in the all too common reality of finding no answers and relying on needing prayer and guidance.

“And I Love Her”
This is a very sweet “Wedding Song” and/or “Golden Anniversary” type song which has heartfelt connection with anyone who is old enough to have been a part of each tender moment… or hope to embrace one in their future. It’s sweet sentimentality… but what’s wrong with that in this rough and tumble world. The Longer & Pop versions are a little over the radio length limit with a slower, tender pace and an additional verse which provides a warmer, sentimental vibe to it, perhaps for the “Father-Daughter First Dance” or the “Anniversary Celebration Waltz of the Golden Couple.” Here’s to LOVE. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did in its composition.

“Average Joe’s”
One advantage of growing old is your ability to look back and reflect over the many years all the different people of all ages, walks of life, nationalities, and from different home circumstances in all those school and college days and work situations. This is an acknowledgement of all the trials and difficulties that those I knew had to live through, and a call to those of all ages to “Love thy Neighbor as thy Self…” in not making life any harder than it already is for those not as blessed as perhaps you are.. The song ends in a more positive note encouraging greater understanding and love to all. The longer version is beyond the typical “Radio length”guidelines, but I used this slower pace to allow the lyrics to reflect and resonate perhaps all littlemore effectively. See what you think. God bless…

“Stand Up For Your Country – Concert Series”
NSAI - Concert 2026 - No comments on structure. I love this idea and the feel - it's all there. Lyrically, you've got a lot of good stuff in here! I think even with no changes this is a solid song - especially where we are right now. Melody feel matches the idea well - it's stuck in my head - great work! Good work so far! This is a solid tune and I enjoyed listening.

“City of Lost Angels” – Theatrical & Club Performances - (See previous description for initial website above)
NSAI – Theatrical - Overall a 5 minute song is a long although for sync, they will use bits and pieces of songs to fit their needs. The title is ok although SELLING PIECES OF HEAVEN would make for a far more interesting title and it also feels more like the main point of the idea. I think you offer up a solid lyric here but going from the THEY/THEY’LL angle in the opening verse to the HER angle in the rest of the song is confusing. I would go with HER right out of the gate for story consistency. I think you offer an honest lyric that is filled with truth. Again for me the hook is really strong with the play on the opposites HEAVEN/ EARTH. Nice approach to a hook. I think it’s a solid idea for sync.

NSAI - Everything flows really well. I think the title is ok but could use stronger placement. All good having it in each verse but it ought to see the end of the chorus as well. [Added specific Lyric changes that will be evaluated]. I think the melody is fitting for the lyric and idea. It has tons of energy and the chorus is anthemic.
“Thru the Eyes of a Child” - Concert - (See previous description for initial website above)
NSAI - I think a V-C-V-C-B-C works well for this song. Maybe the 4:39 is a bit long. I like the title and think you do a good job of placement as well. I think the lyric is well written and the tone is consistent throughout the song. You have some really strong references especially in V2. I love how visual you make most of the lyric. I love the 'Indians saved cowboys' and 'nurses cured doctors' references. Everything leads to your hook well. It’s a beautiful melody that really fits this lyric well. Not sure you really needed the ‘concert’ effect to get this message across the finish line. This will always be a solid and universal idea.
“West Texas Waltz” – Realism (See previous description for initial website above)
“This is a sweet, “end of the dance/show”-type of song which encourages couples to get out on the floor, hold each other tight, and sway to a nice country waltz. I hope you enjoy a 1-2-3 along with me…”

"Bless Your Heart - Feel Good Music"

"When My Amy Smiles - Updated 2026"

“Trail of Tears” - Orchestra
(* A much more extensive historical explanation by the History Channel is attached on the REFERENCE Page.
A new Theatrical version is now also provided which adds a beautiful combination of sadness and respect in a creative story. As a child living in Virginia, we each summer we would vacation in Montreat, NC. Along the way along the Smokies, we would always stop to see the Cherokee Nation play of "Unto These Hills.” Having long forgotten the exact words and music, I felt compelled to at least honor those memories the best I could with this totally original song presented in both a normal song production, but also in a separate beautiful and moving theatrical representation of these unfortunate historical events. I hope I’ve created something worthy of the long running “Unto These Hills” production.
NSAI – Orchestra - Beautiful job on this song overall. Really nice melody that builds. The song as it stands right now is very dramatic and has a lot of emotion. I'm not sure where this would fit in with current radio/commercial music. It almost has a musical theatre kind of feel to it, with all of the dynamics. I think you'd have to cut the song in length and change some over the overly-dramatic spots in order for it to have more commercial appeal for what's currently happening in sync/radio. Your lyrics are really poetic and paint beautiful pictures. You are clearly telling a historical story, and you've done a really nice job on your lyrics overall. Your title works well with your song, and you use it well as your hook. Commercially speaking, 4:42 is too long. The listener will lose interest and typically, radio ready songs are between 2:30-3:30. I would encourage you to edit it down in length. Great job with your song though, nicely done!

“I Want to Be Loved – Pop, Sentimental Orchestra”

NSAI - “You have the right structure.” “It’s a cool hook and you use it in a memorable way.” Cool theme, Pop Ballad lyrics and melodies and feel. “The modulation is cool, Cool soulful country/ pop melodies and feel. I think it’s pretty tight! This could work for the Pop and Contemporary Country market. “This is pretty tight.” “ I think pitch ready.” NSAI ACCOLADES – “Ones to Watch”!
